Airspace over homes

From time to time we come across homeowners that insist that we are not permitted to fly over their homes. Often times this is out of a concern for privacy, thinking that because the drone is over their property that we must be documenting it. Granted there is are privacy laws that prohibits spying or documenting private property without permission, however simply having the drone located over a property in order to photograph or video another property is not in violation of any laws. And as you can see from the video below, homeowners have no authority over the airspace over their property.
